Borgess VNA Home Care
Bringing someone into your home to care for you or a family member is a major decision. Borgess VNA Home Care is here to make your decision a little easier. Our home care staff must undergo extensive drug and criminal background checks prior to working for us—which means greater peace of mind for you and those closest to your heart.
Seven days a week, from two hours to 24 hours a day, we’ll be there when you need us to help you or your loved one live as independently as possible. Our experienced registered nurses supervise all of our services, including:
- Personal care/bathing
- Assistance with dressing
- Planning, preparation and clean up of meals
- Grocery shopping
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry
- Medication assistance
- Respite care for caregivers
- Companionship and conversation
- Scheduled two-hour time slots for morning and/or evening help with bathing, dressing and meals
Home Care Costs
Home care costs range from $17 to $23 per hour. (After 25 hours of service, you are eligible for a $50 discount.) Payment plans are available for all personal care services. For scheduling or more information, call 269.382.8008 or 1.800.772.3344.
Emergency Response Systems from Lifeline®
Lifeline, the leading personal response service, ensures that prompt, caring help is available at the press of a button—24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The cost of this life-saving service is $35 for installation and $35 per month.
Flu Shot Clinics
To keep our community vibrant, we feature a variety of health screenings annually. Each fall, Borgess VNA Home Care delivers more than 25,000 flu and pneumonia vaccinations throughout southwest Michigan. For more information on our annual flu shot clinics, visit flushot.borgess.com.
Travel and Special Immunization Programs
Borgess VNA Home Care can help you have a safe and healthy trip through our pre- and post-travel counseling and immunization services. So you and your loved ones can say bon voyage with confidence. Also offer other vaccines including shingles and meningitis.
