Upcoming Flu Shot Clinics

Who:

• Adults and children in need of H1N1 vaccination, seasonal flu shot or flu mist immunization

Cost:

• Seasonal flu shots are $33 or covered by the following plans of Medicare Part B: Medicare B, Railroad Medicare, Advantra Freedom, First Health, Aetna Medicare B, Humana Medicare B, Medicare Plus Blue, Pyramid Life, Today’s Options, Secured Horizons, Pacificare and United Healthcare Medicare. Pneumonia shots are $52.50 and are typically covered by Medicare Part B as well. For healthy individuals between the ages of 2 and 49, we will again offer access to the Flu Mist nasal spray for $28.
• The cost of H1N1 flu vaccination administration is $19.50. Medicare covers the cost. Persons not on Medicare will need to pay for the vaccination at the time of administration, using cash, credit card or check; they will receive a receipt to submit to their insurers for reimbursement
