Our Medical Team

Robert E. Brush, Jr., MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and has more than 30 years experience in pulmonary care. He is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and completed an Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary Medicine fellowship at the University of South Florida Medical School in Tampa. Dr. Brush is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care. He first joined the practice in 1977.
Stephen E. Jefferson, MD, has been a member of our practice for over thirty years.  He is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary Disease fellowship at the University of South Florida.  Dr. Jefferson is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Diseases, and has special expertise in Sleep Medicine.

 

 

 

 

William M. Katz, MD, is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center and St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Following residency, he completed a Pulmonary Diseases fellowship at George Washington University,Washington, D.C., as well as a Sleep Medicine fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Since 2007, Dr. Katz has served as Medical Director for the Metro Health Sleep Disorders Laboratory. For nearly two decades, he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Katz is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary Diseases and Sleep Medicine.
Jason Ladwig, MD, is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at MSU Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. He received his fellowship training in pulmonary medicine at Indiana University School of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.  Dr. Ladwig is fluent in Spanish.
Paul Lange, MD, is a Michigan State University College of Human Medicine graduate and completed an internal medicine residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital affiliated with the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.   He earned a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, is board certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care, and has more than 20 years experience.
Michael A. Warlick, MD, is a graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Medicine and has been with the practice for nearly 30 years.  He completed an Internal Medicine residency at the MSU Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies and earned a Pulmonary Disease fellowship at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center.  Dr. Warlick is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Diseases.
  Lori A. Hughes, PA-C, joined our practice in September 2002. She earned a Masters of Science in Medicine from Western Michigan University, and is certified as a Physician’s Assistant and Respiratory Therapist
