That’s where there’s harmony in healing

Resounding Spirit Choir

Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords survived an unspeakable tragedy. She did it with dedication and grace. She did it with tremendous medical and family support. She did it through the power of music. That’s right. There’s harmony in healing ... and healing in harmony. Music and music-based therapy continue to boost morale, elevate mood, and even help critically injured patients like Giffords relearn how to walk and talk.

In southwest Michigan, music is lifting the spirits of employees, physicians, patients and visitors alike at Borgess Medical Center. Comprised entirely of Borgess associates and volunteers, the Resounding Spirit Choir believes that music enables people to be well, get well and live well. Our job is to celebrate the gift of music—and give this gift to those we care for and care about.

Healing and Harmony During the Holiday Season

This holiday season, watch the Borgess Resounding Spirit Choir celebrate the gift of music with Let There Be Peace On Earth and hear other selections, including those from its recent performance at the Michigan Festival of Sacred Music, that ring the message of healing and harmony.
