When you become a bariatric patient at Borgess, you become part of a dedicated team. We offer a variety of classes, events and support groups to help you achieve and maintain your weight-loss goals.

Here are a few examples of the ongoing support you can receive from the Borgess Bariatric Center:

Bariatric Support Group

At Borgess, we are dedicated to providing the information, encouragement and support network to help ensure the best weight loss outcomes possible. Bariatric support groups put you in touch with others who have had bariatric surgery, so you can ask questions as well as share your successes and lifelong commitment to losing weight and gaining life.

Our free support groups are led by licensed medical professionals and are held at the Borgess Health & Fitness Center. No registration is required. For more information call (269) 226.6863. For up-to-date schedule information, download our bariatric support group flyer.

Bariatric Surgery Reunion

Patients of the Borgess Bariatric Center always look forward to our annual reunion as a chance to celebrate their hard work and success with those who appreciate it most. It’s a great chance to catch up with your surgeon and your care team — as well as a chance to meet others who have had bariatric surgery and discuss each other’s experiences and triumphs.
